Play, experience, have fun. We offer great excursion destinations and leisure activities. Even in bad weather, there are plenty of opportunities to pass the time with indoor activities.

Every summer, Winnetou and Old Shatterhand hunt bandits on the large open-air stage at the Elspe Festival. There is a lot to discover in our numerous villages, in the forest and in the meadows: animals and play areas in PanoramaPark, the secrets and mysteries of science in Galileo Park, exciting nature experiences in the nature park information centres and spa gardens, interesting facts at the Rothaarsteig adventure stations or on a hike with the audio stories ‘Grenzgeschichten hautnah’ (Border stories up close).
