Getting here & getting around

Our vacation region of Lennestadt & Kirchhundem—centrally located in the Sauerland and in the middle of the Rothaarsteig—is only about an hour's drive from the Ruhr area or Rhineland, for example. Vacation so close! Here's how to get here:

By car:

• From the north and south via the A 45* and B 55 (Olpe motorway exit, B 55 towards Lennestadt),
• from the west via the A 4/A 45*, (Olpe motorway exit, B 55 towards Lennestadt), 
• from the east via the A 44/B 55 (Anröchte motorway exit, B 55 towards Meschede). 

* Attention: Complete closure of the A45 between the Lüdenscheid-Nord and Lüdenscheid junctions for all traffic!

By train:

• via the Essen-Siegen regional line, destination station Lennestadt-Altenhundem, Lennestadt-Grevenbrück, or Kirchhundem, Kirchhundem-Welschen Ennest.

Information about train connections is available at www.bahn.de. There are connections every half hour from Hagen and Siegen, for example.
